Nimby Acre Fiber Art is growing, changing and moving! We are now located at 227 S. Main Street, in historic downtown Mount Vernon.  This move takes us from 450 square feet to 1,980 square feet! There will be room for looms, spinning wheels, a place to felt and dye.  Class schedules can be found in the "About" tab. More instructors are joining us to offer a wider array of fiber art classes. Schacht products are sold, hand made items are for sale and we are expending to a "Home" section. The name is changing to Nimby Acre Fiber - Art - Home. The opening date for the new shop is September 1, 2017.  We are spending the summer, teaching, organizing and making things. Find us at Farmers' Market on Saturdays from 9a-12pm. Check out July's schedule of classes and get a sneak peak at what is happening inside!!

Nimby Acre is a little fiber farm just uptown from the studio. It is the home of three llamas, four alpacas and one angora rabbit.

From their fiber (and some other friends) we create yarn with which to weave, knit or crochet.
