Providing education and equipment to create fiber art.

A year has gone by since Nimby Acre opened on the Square in downtown Mount Vernon. Yarn and baskets, knitting needles and porcelain buttons, socks and stuffed animals have found their way into the studio which morphed into a retail shop. Stop in. Shop.  Classes for March have been scheduled-- needle felting and beginning knittingJoin us. Private instruction is always available for weaving.  Also if your Girl Scout Troop or Women's group would like to make wool dryer balls, or needle felting, discount rates are available.

Nimby Acre is a little fiber farm just uptown from the studio. It is the home of three llamas, four alpacas and one angora rabbit.

From their fiber (and some other friends) we create yarn with which to weave, knit or crochet.
